The Gap Study

Chapter 4

The Fibonacci levels: A, B, C, the entry and the targets

Where the Fibonacci ratios come from, how a gap's levels are drawn from A, B and C, and how often price reached each one.

The Fibonacci numbers come from a sequence in which each number is the sum of the two before it. As it goes on, the ratio between one number and the one before it approaches 1.618, and its inverse approaches 0.618. Those ratios show up in nature, in art and, for many traders, in the way price advances and pulls back.
